WHY THERAPY? HOW LONG WILL THE PROCESS TAKE?
Therapy helps as a guide and framework to give you the best chance for a positive outcome. The process can take several weeks to months. Additionally, coming back to therapy after a break is also part of the process for some.
WILL MY INFORMATION BE SHARED WITH ANYONE?
Your information is kept confidential. There are certain situations where information will or potentially can be shared:

suspected child abuse

imminent danger to client or others

information required in court proceedings or by clients insurance company/financial based agencies

information concerning licensee case consultation or supervision

defending claims brought y client against licensee

WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER THERAPY?
The short answer is: it depends. Most plans in the United States cover mental health similarly to how they cover other medical costs, meaning that sessions could be billed with a co-pay or go toward your deductible. Ultimately it will be your responsibility to check with your insurance to confirm the type of coverage you have.
